This resurrection watercolor craft is a beautiful craft to teach children about the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This is a great activity for a Sunday School or homeschooling art lesson.

Easter Bunnies, baby chicks, Easter egg hunts and coloring Easter eggs are all fun festive holiday crafts/activities to enjoy during the springtime. Easter is a fun holiday to celebrate all things spring and most importantly new life! As a Christian Mom I can’t let the Easter season come and go without us celebrating the true meaning of Easter – that Jesus, born as a baby, lived a perfect life and then died on the cross for us and rose again on the third day. This Easter Bible craft is a beautiful activity while remembering what Jesus did for us.

Supplies needed for Resurrection Bible Craft

How to Make Easter Resurrection Bible Craft:

  1. Use your watercolor paints and create a sunset. I started using a red/pink at the top and made an ombre affect with orange and yellow. Let dry.
  2. Cut out stone templates and carefully crumble in your hands. Un-crumple and glue down. (This just gives the rock some texture)
  3. Add sun in the corn and crosses on top of large rock.
  4. Rip green paper and add as grass.
  5. Glue He is Risen to the rock.  Attach small rock to all papers with a brad. ( Helps to go layer by layer)
