Easter Dirt Cups
These Easter dirt cups are a delicious and simple treat to enjoy during the spring and Easter season. With minimal ingredients. it’s a great pantry friendly dessert. These Easter friendly dirt cups are a holiday spin off of our yummy dinosaur dirt cups. This time around we decided to separate the pudding mixture and add a touch of food coloring. Now we have pretty pastel colored layers in between the Oreo crumbs.
Chocolate Dessert with an Easter Twist
You only need a few minimal ingredients to make this Easter dessert. We love to make this dessert in individual serving cups, we usually get around 18, which makes them perfect for family dinners and parties! You can also make this dessert in a 9×13 inch pan.
Ingredients needed for Easter Dirt Cups:
- Vanilla Instant Pudding
- Milk
- Cool Whip
- Oreo Cookies, crushed
- Easter Peeps
- Easter Candy Eggs
- Shredded Coconut
- Green food coloring
How to make Easter Dirt Dessert

Whisk together pudding mix and milk in a medium bowl for 2 minutes. Allow to set for 5 minutes.
- Separate pudding mixture into two bowls and add food coloring to each bowl. I made a purple bowl and a light pink bowl. You can use whatever colors you want.

Fold in cool whip.

Add one tablespoon of crushed cookies into the bottle of the cups.

Top with a layer of pudding mixture.

Repeat layers, alternating with the colored pudding, until ending with cookie mixture.

Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

Add your shredded coconut to a container with a lid, add a few drops of food coloring and a touch of water. Shake until colored.
- Right before serving add some colored shredded coconut on top. Top with candy eggs and Peeps.
