Ice Cream Sandwich Pops– a simple sprinkle covered patriotic summer treat using store bought ice cream sandwiches.
Ice Cream Sandwich Pops
Fun and simple treats are the center behind my menu for family gatherings and parties with friends. The Fourth of July is a time of celebration and what occasions don’t have tasty food and fun treats! These patriotic ice cream sandwich pops are such a fun treat the kids will love to make and enjoy eating. They go perfectly with our festive American fruit flag tray and our red & white rocket kabobs.
Add a patriotic touch
We chose to add some patriotic sprinkles to our sandwich pops but these would work with any kind of sprinkles. You could use chocolate jimmies, rainbow sprinkles or any color sprinkles that matches your occasion.
Fun ways to serve pops
We added these mini ice cream sandwiches to little popsicle sticks and placed them in a jar for easy grabbing. You can also just keep them as little bite sized bites that are easy to grab. You will want to make sure you keep the pops in the freezer until just before serving. Once you place them out for display they will begin to melt quickly. You can also place these on a baking sheet that has been layered with ice to help keep them frozen for a bit longer.

This is so genius to cut them into squares and really jazz them up! When my little boys are given a whole one, they start to melt and become a huge mess anyway so this will definitely help with keeping their clothes clean, haha! Love it!
