Paper Plate Narwhal Craft for Kids
Narwhals are one of those animals kids are instantly obsessed with, especially since they’re often called the “unicorn of the sea.” This Paper Plate Narwhal Craft is such a fun way to introduce these winter mammals. Kids can cut, glue, and make their narwhal totally their own while you chat about how cool they are and where they live! We made our narwhals purple and blue but kids can use their imagination and create them in whatever color they would like.
With a simple paper plate base and a free printable template, it’s easy to pull together and feels more like fun creative time than anything else.

- Print and cut out the narwhal template pieces. Use the template to cut the fins, tail, horn, and belly from colored cardstock.
- Glue the belly piece to the bottom of the paper plate. Attach the fins to the sides and the tail to the bottom. Add the horn to the top.

Step 3: Adding Final Details
- Add googly eyes, pink cheeks, and draw a simple smile with a black marker.
