This Waffle Charcuterie Board is a fun way to serve waffles, a classic favorite, for breakfast, brunch or even dinner! Serve with your favorite toppings the whole family will love!
Waffle Charcuterie Board
Pancakes vs’ Waffles, what do you prefer? I actually have an equal love for both of them! 🙂 Growing up I wasn’t exactly a big breakfast eater but as an adult it’s one of my favorite meals. This waffle breakfast board is a fun way to serve breakfast to your family or friends for breakfast, brunch, or even dinner! We love to use our favorite easy homemade waffle recipe but any recipe your family likes will work just fine! You can even use a batch of frozen waffles if you are in a hurry.
FAVORITE TOPPINGS TO SERVE WITH WAFFLES:
I think toppings are one of the best parts of this waffle board. In my family we all have different likes, my oldest son and I prefer berries, while my daughter and middle son love chocolate chips. Adding toppings to the serving tray helps appeal to all the various tastebuds and it sure does look pretty!
Favorite toppings to include:
- Berries – strawberries, blueberries & raspberries
- Bananas
- Chocolate Chips
- Walnuts
- Peanut Butter
- Nutella
- Yogurt
- Maple Syrup
As mentioned above we love to use our homemade waffle recipe but you could also try our lemon coconut poppyseed waffles, lemon raspberry waffles, your favorite family recipe or even swap the waffles for pancakes 🙂
BUILD YOUR OWN WAFFLE BOARD
You will want to start out with a large serving tray that is food safe. If it’s not food safe just be sure to place a piece of parchment paper on the bottom where food might touch.
- Arrange your small bowls, that are filled with toppings, on the food tray. I like to start with the bowls as it’s easier to manipulate food and move it around dishes than to cram dishes in after food is already on my tray.
- Add your hot waffles to the board, fill with remaining toppings and desired dipping sauces. Serve!
It really is that simple!
HOW TO KEEP WAFFLES HOT
Keep finished waffles warm in a 200-degree Fahrenheit oven – be sure to arrange them in a single layer so they don’t get soggy from their steam. Right before serving take out waffles and place on tray.
