Fun Ideas for These Paper Plate Wreaths

I love having my kids decide where they want to put their decorations in my house. For example, they like to hang them in the window so we can see them from outside the house. They also like to stick their decorations on the fridge to be proudly displayed all season long. You could even make a few wreaths and have a small garland of wreaths to hang.

What If I Don’t Have Dessert Plates?

If you don’t have desert plates, you can use regular size plates. I personally like the dessert plates because they’re easier for kids to decorate, but if you can’t find any, regular works fine!

How Big Should the Pom-Poms Be?

If you can, try to find small pom-poms so they look like berries. The bigger the pom-pom, the more room it takes up and it doesn’t look like little holly berries on the wreath.

Can I Use Hot Glue Instead of Regular Glue?

Yes! If you have a hot glue gun, this works fine! It’ll actually be a much quicker craft if you have hot glue since it dries faster. Make sure you do the hot gluing and not your kids so they don’t get burned!

Can I Use Two Kinds of Green for My Wreath?

You can! You could do a dark green wreath with lime green tissue paper to switch it up if you want. Or, you could do the opposite and do a lime green wreath with dark green tissue paper. Whatever you have on hand or can find in the store that’s green will work perfectly!
