  1. Begin by painting your paper plate brown.
  2. Cut out feathers from each of the construction paper colors. You should have 6 feathers to write on.
  3. Cut out a small orange triangle, orange feet, and a red snood.
  4. Have your child write 6 things they are thankful for on the colorful feathers. You can help younger kids write theirs, of course.

Paper Plate Turkey Craft

This paper plate turkey craft is a fabulous way to show kids that we should be thankful for all sorts of things throughout the whole year. I showed my kids that we could be thankful for things like our toys, but we can also be thankful for bigger things like our health and a roof over our heads. Use this craft to remind kids of everything they have to be thankful for in their lives.

This turkey craft can be used at home with the family and is a great classroom activity for teachers to do with their students. The finished turkeys look amazing, hung up on the bulletin board decorating the hallway’s walls.
