Begin by painting your paper plate brown.

Cut out feathers from each of the construction paper colors. You should have 6 feathers to write on.

Cut out a small orange triangle, orange feet, and a red wattle.

Have your child write 6 things they are thankful for on the colorful feathers. You can help younger kids write theirs of course.

Glue the feathers to the back of the plate (we turned ours upside down to make the turkey face pop out).

Use your glue sticks to attach the googly eyes, orange beak, orange feet, and red wattle.
