How to Video for making Valentine’s Day Gnomes
Supplies Need to Make Gnome Craft
- Cardstock Paper, White
- Scrapbooking Paper, we used polka dots but any colors and designs will work
- Glitter Paper
- Pom Poms
Simple Crafting with Kids
The steps to make these cute little gnomes are so simple and perfect for the littlest of crafters. When making handprint crafts, we tend to prefer to just trace hands on cardstock paper and then cut.
HOW TO MAKE VALENTINE’S DAY GNOME:
- Trace your childs hand on a piece of white cardstock. Cut out.
- Cut out a triangle shape hat out of your design paper. Glue to the palm area of the handprint with the fingers acting as the “beard.”
- Add a pom pom nose.
- Cut out a heart shape from your glitter cardstock. Glue to the beard of the gnome.
SECONDARY OPTION: Want to make your craft a little more special? Instead of just tracing a hand you can paint your child’s hand and then press it onto your cardstock paper. Once dry, you can cut the shape of the handprint out. This is a fun option when gifting your craft to a grandparent or to make it a keepsake.
