It’s no secret that I love my treats and recipes that I can make with my kids. My Oreo Frogs are actually the very first kids treat we ever created and the internet loved them! These frog cupcakes were a fun way to bring back our love of the Oreo frogs in another way. My kids just loved these cupcakes and they even come together quite a bit faster than the Oreo frogs do. You can start off making our favorite chocolate cupcake recipe or you can use a box mix, which is what we did this time around 🙂 We mixed up some of our favorite buttercream frosting and added some food coloring until it was the shade of green we wanted.
SUPPLIES For Frog Cupcakes:
- Buttercream Frosting
- Food Coloring
- Red Pull and Peel Twizzlers
- Jumbo Candy Eyes
One you frost your cupcakes, you can place two jumbo eyes in them middle of the cupcake. I used a small piece of the Pull and Peel Twizzler for the mouth. Then you are done! Easy Peasy and great for parties, church functions, and school events! These frog cupcakes would be a fun way to celebrate the summer season with your kids! It’s fun and minimal mess and minimal ingredients.
