These Snowman Dirt Cups are a whimsical twist on the classic dirt cups recipe you already love! With a sweet marshmallow snowman perched on top, this dessert is as fun to make as it is to eat. Let’s dive in!
Ingredients Needed to Make Snowman Dirt Cups:
- 1 package of white chocolate pudding (plus milk as directed on the package)
- Food coloring (to color pudding if desired)
- 1 package of Golden Oreo cookies (crushed into crumbs)
- 1 container of whipped topping (such as Cool Whip)
- Large marshmallows (one per cup)
- Mini M&Ms (for ear muffs if desired)
- Orange decorating gel (for the snowman’s nose)
- Black decorating gel (for the snowman’s mouth)
- Decorating gel (in colors you desire for the optional ear muffs)
- Clear cups (for serving)
How To Make Snowman Dirt Cups
Step 1: Prepare the Pudding Mixture
- Mix the pudding according to package instructions. If desired, separate pudding mixture into two bowls and add desired food coloring.
- Once the pudding is set, fold in the whipped topping into both bowls for a fluffy consistency.
Step 2: Make your Layers
- Layer your crushed Oreos into your clear plastic cups. We used 9 ounce cups and was able to get about 12 finished cups.
- Add a layer of pudding on top. Add another layer of crushed Oreos and one more layer of pudding. Top with remaining crushed Oreos.
Step 3: Make your Marshmallow Snowmen
Take a large marshmallow and decorate it to look like a snowman:
- Use black decorating gel to draw the eyes and mouth.
- Add an orange nose using the orange decorating gel.
- Add a strip of color at the top of the snowmans head and add two M&m’s on either side to look like ear muffs. This step is completely optional and the snowmen look adorable with or without the ear muffs.
- Allow the gel to set for a few minutes.
