These friendly little bumblebees are a fun and simple way to introduce the Bible verse Psalms 119:103 which says, “How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!” This verse is talking about how much the writer loves God’s words in the Bible- sweeter than honey! The writer of this chapter is not completely known but many believe it could be King David. The writer of this chapter talks about the goodness of God’s word.

How To Make a Sweeter Than Honey Bible Craft

Step 1: Cut out your Template Pieces & Make your Beehive

Using our free template, cut out your necessary template pieces and set aside.

Cut your bubble wrap into a hive shape using the hive template. Paint on a layer of yellow paint. Work quickly as it will begin to dry. Carefully press your bubble wrap, paint side down, onto a piece of white cardstock. Let dry completely.

Step 2: Add details to Hive and Make Bumblebees

Add line details around your hive and cut out. Cut out two yellow ovals for your bumblebees body. Draw two stripes on each bumblebee. Glue brown branch and leaves to your background piece. Glue hive and bees to your background piece. Add place piece to hive.

Step 3: Add details to Bees

Add wings to your bumblebees with a black Sharpie marker. Add leaf details as well. Add eyes and smiley face. Add pink cheeks with a colored pencil.
