FAQ’s
Can I use fresh or canned spinach?
Yes! I prefer to use the frozen kind but all three kinds work just fine. If you decide to use canned just make sure you squeeze out all the extra liquid. If using fresh just chop the spinach and add it to the cheese mixture. The spinach will shrink as it bakes.
Can I prepare this ahead of time?
My favorite thing to prepare for parties are dips for this reason, you can prepare it ahead of time! Just mix all the ingredients together add it to your baking dish and store in the refrigerator until you are ready to bake. Let the pan sit on the kitchen counter as the oven preheats.
Can I freeze this dip?
I don’t recommend freezing dairy products as it doesn’t always yield the best results.

Delicious dip. I’m a fan of using fresh spinach myself, but the frozen works really well in here. We love this dip with blue tortilla chips. Makes it so colorful and fun!
