Katie’s Craft Tips
As both a mom of three and an elementary art teacher, I’ve made crafts like this with lots of little hands over the years! Here are a few of my favorite tips to help make your crafting time easier, less messy, and even more fun.

How to Make a Ocean Diorama
Step One:
- Print off your ocean diorama template.
- Color in your diorama with your favorite coloring supplies. We chose to use markers but coloring pencils and crayons also work well!

STEP TWO:
- Cut out the ocean diorama and all of the 3D pieces. Be sure to leave the gray triangle labeled “Glue” attached to the main background piece, as you’ll need it for the next step.

STEP THREE:
- Fold the tabs of the 3D characters.

STEP FOUR:
- Fold the bottom edge of the diorama along the fold line.
- Apply a small amount of glue or a piece of double-sided tape to the gray glue tab. Gently bring the opposite side of the background around and attach it to the glue tab to create your 3D ocean scene.

STEP FIVE:
- Glue your 3D ocean creatures to the floor of the diorama.
