How to Make a Popsicle Stick Arctic Fox
STEP ONE:
- Print and color your Miner Crew.
Use crayons, markers, or colored pencils to decorate your miner characters. Let kids get creative with outfits, hats, and gem colors.

STEP TWO:
- Create your cave shape.
Cut a large cave shape from brown construction paper or kraft paper using our template to guide you. You can crumple and flatten the paper first to give it a rocky texture if you’d like! - Cut your black square and wood frame.
Using the provided template, trace and cut a black square and a wood frame piece from cardstock. Use a brown marker to add small lines or cracks to your frame to make it look like old wood. - Cut your rocks from gray cardstock (PRO TIP: Keep scraps of paper in a bin for tiny pieces like this in future projects)

STEP THREE:
- Assemble your mine entrance.
Glue your black square onto the center of your brown mountain, then layer and glue the wood frame on top to create the entrance to your mine - Add Texture.
Using a brown marker, crayon or colored pencil add wide “M” shapes to your cave.

STEP FOUR
- Add Your Miners:
Glue your colored miners and gray rocks around the cave entrance or place them wherever you’d like to build your mining scene! - Add Some Sparkle:
Stick rhinestone gems around the cave walls to make your underground adventure sparkle.

STEP FIVE:
Optional: Glue your finished cave onto a piece of black paper and trim around the edges, leaving about a ¼ inch border to create a framed look.
