Belle Cupcakes

Belle Cupcakes: simple and beautiful cupcakes that are perfect for any Beauty and The Beast Party or princess party!

As most little girls, my sister and I grew up on all the classic Disney princess movies.  Our personal favorites were Aladdin, The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast.  When we found out Disney would be creating a live Beauty and the Beast movie as they did with Cinderella we were so excited!  We really enjoyed the Cinderella movie and I can’t wait to see this new Beauty and the Beast movie that is coming out in just a few weeks!  I decided to make these Beauty and the Beast inspired Belle cupcakes.  They are so simple and beautiful. 

SUPPLIES FOR BELLE CUPCAKES:

• Lemon Cake Mix
• White sugar pearls
• Rose Decorations
• #1M cake decorating tip
• Icing, colored yellow

I started off with a lemon cupcake because it has that perfect yellow color.  You can make whatever flavor cupcake you want…even my perfect chocolate cupcake would be great! 

I used a #1M cake decorating tip to pipe the yellow icing on the cupcake. 

I topped the Belle Cupcakes with these beautiful rose icing decorations from Wilton. I also added some white sugar pearls around the icing for a fancier look. 

These cupcakes were so fun to make and only requires a few simple ingredients.  They are perfect for any Beauty and the Beast party, Princess Party or just because 🙂 Are you going to see the new Beauty and the Beast movie?  What Disney movie was your favorite growing up?
