Raspberry Jello Salad

Jello salads are simple and delicious dishes to bring to a potluck or to round out a family dinner.  Most jello salads only require minimal ingredients and a few hours of chill time, which makes it the perfect make-ahead dish.  This raspberry jello salad is light and fluffy and bursting with a raspberry flavor. It’s a family favorite alongside our cherry coke jello and ambrosia fruit salad.

Simple Ingredients. Tasty Treat.

You only need 4 basic ingredients and one of them is water.  🙂 This recipe only tastes a few minutes to prep and after a few hours of chilling it’s ready to enjoy.

  • Raspberry jello (3 ounce box- small) you can also swap for a strawberry flavor
  • Sour cream
  • Cool Whip
  • Frozen raspberries
  • Water

How to make Raspberry Jello Salad

  1. Pour 1 cup of hot water into large bowl with jello powder. Mix until dissolved.
  2. Add sour cream and whisk until smooth.
  3. Add package of frozen strawberries and mix
  4. Fold in Cool Whip until no more white streaks remain.
  5. Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.

Storing

I personally love this jello salad the day it’s made but it still tastes great up to 4-5 days later. You may need to give the salad a quick mix as the berries begin to sink.
