When I think of hosting a brunch, whether it be an Easter, Spring or Summer time brunch, I always think of muffins, like these delicious cinnamon and sugar muffins from Tastefully Simple. One of my favorite ways to make brunch’s or gatherings even more special is by adding a little place setting for each guest. I have found that my guests prefer things they can eat rather than something they may end up throwing away at a later time. I decided to make these adorable little terra cotta pot flower muffins that are just a perfect way to add a special touch of spring to your brunch. Tastefully Simple has some more adorable and tasty ideas to make your Easter brunch even more special.
Supplies:
- Muffins, such as Cinnamon Muffin Melt Mix from Tastefully Simple
- Terra Cotta Pots, make sure you only use baking appropriate pots as regular clay pots are not food safe.
- Green scrapbooking paper, cut into leaf shapes
- Mini Lollipops, such as Dum Dums
- String or Jute
Simply place your muffins in the terra cotta pots and add your flower embellishments. Lastly, tie a piece of string or jute around your pots. You could also add little place cards next to these pots or write your guests names on them.
These little terra cotta pots are really fun for some of the older kids as well! My little guys handled them perfectly but do remember terra cotta pots can break and no running with lollipops 🙂
