Friends! Valentines Day is soon approaching! My son has already been asking me to bring cookies into his classroom party and bugging me for what he can pass out. I know many parents and kids are limited in what they can bring into school so I thought a non-candy option would be fun and helpful! What little kid doesn’t love getting a new colorful pencil ๐ You can even top them with the fun chunky erasers that really don’t erase anything ๐ I’m also part of a fun Valentines Day blog hop where you can check out over 40 other Valentine ideas and crafts.
I found a pack of pencils at the Dollar Store so this is a really inexpensive valentine if your child is part of a bigger class. All you need to do is print out the free pencil valentine that you can find HERE. I then used a exacto knife ( be careful) but you could also use scissors to create two slits, one at the top and one at the bottom of the printable. Then you just need to push your pencil between the two slits and you are done! You can tie a little ribbon around the top of the pencil if you want too ๐
There are three cute pencil graphics that you can use. You child may want to hand select who gets what one or he can just pass them out at random.
Make sure you check out all these other amazing valentine ideas!
