Banana Cinnamon Smoothie: a delicious banana smoothie filled with a fresh banana flavor, sweet vanilla ice cream, and a touch of cinnamon and spice.

Banana Cinnamon Smoothie

I’m not a big “ice cream” person, don’t get me wrong, I enjoy ice cream especially during the summer months but it’s not my go to “snack.”  However, I love a good smoothie! This banana cinnamon smoothie is so delicious!  The ice cream adds the perfect amount of creaminess and the cinnamon and dash of nutmeg adds a delicious spice to the smoothie.

Can I use soft bananas instead of frozen?

While the bananas don’t have to be frozen to help with the flavor of this smoothie is does add another touch of creaminess to it.  If you are short on time and don’t want to wait to freeze your bananas you may just need to add more ice, just know that the more ice you add the less “creamy” it will be 🙂

How to make a Banana Cinnamon Smoothie

  1. Dice you bananas into small chunks and place in freezer until solid. Even 20-30 minutes helps if you are short on time.
  2. Place bananas in blender with remaining ingredients and pulse until desired consistency.
  3. Add more or less spice to your liking.
  4. Serve immediately.
