Popsicle Stick Snowman

Creating this simple popsicle stick snowman is as easy as one, two, three. You need some crafts sticks, paint, glue, and tons of fun! You can find everything you need at the craft store or online. Here’s what you need.

• Jumbo Craft Sticks (6 for each snowman)
• regular popsicle sticks (2 for each snowman)
• craft foam (light purple, dark purple, orange)
• pipe cleaner (light blue)
• pom poms (darker blue and purple)
• white and black paint
• googly eyes
• black Sharpie
• liquid glue or a hot glue gun.

How to Make a Popsicle Stick Snowman

To make your craft stick snowmen, follow these easy steps.

1. First, lay down six craft sticks side by side. Glue two smaller popsicle sticks to the back diagonally to hold them together. Feel free to use hot glue or liquid glue. Wood glue would work as well. This will be the back of the snowman.
2. Once the glue has dried, flip the craft over and paint the six sticks white.
3. Next, make your snowman’s hat out of craft foam. I cut a semi-circle and a darker strip for the brim of the hat. Then I glued a pom pom on the top.
4. You can also make ear muffs using a pipe cleaner and two pom poms.
5. Glue eyes, a carrot nose made from orange craft foam, and pink button cheeks on the snowman’s face.
6. Use a black marker to dot the mouth, and you’re done!

If you don’t like the look of the rounded hat or the ear muffs, use black craft foam to make a top hat shape. Get creative with your hats and if you are crafty enough, add a scarf at the bottom! You can’t go wrong with these popsicle stick Christmas ornaments.

How Do You Make a Glitter Snowman?

If you love glitter as much as I do, grab some silver or white glitter and sprinkle it on the white paint before it dries. Kids love glitter, and I know it makes a mess, but if you use these as ornaments, they will look lovely next to your twinkly lights.
