- Melt your chocolate.
- Crush candy canes. Add half of candy canes to melted chocolate.
- Spread melted chocolate on a piece of parchment paper or silpat covered baking sheet.
- Sprinkle remaining crushed candy canes over melted chocolate.
- Place in refrigerator until chocolate has harden.
- Break or cut into small pieces. Store in airtight container.

I have found the best way to crush candy canes for this peppermint bark is to place it in a large ziploc bag and smash with a rolling pin until desired size pieces are formed. I have tried putting the candy canes in the food processor and while it works I find the piece to be inconsistent and sometimes a powder forms, which isn’t what you want.
Can I use milk chocolate instead of white chocolate?
