HOW TO VIDEO:

Materials Needed for the Strawberry Craft

This adorable craft can be made with minimal craft supplies. Dig into your stash of cardstock and create this cute activity for the special occasion. If you don’t have the supplies below, you can find them at your local craft store, supercenter, and even online.

  • Cardstock or construction paper in red and green
  • Fine point marker in dark brown or black
  • Strawberry template
  • Googly eyes
  • Bright pink paint pen
  • Black Sharpie or marker

If you can’t find paint pens, acrylic paint or a Sharpie marker will work fine for the rosy cheeks on the strawberries.

We also love using googly eyes because they are so goofy, but you can draw your own eyes if you prefer. Kids just have such a blast putting large, silly eyes on their crafts and watching them wiggle around!

How to Make a Mother’s Day Strawberry Craft

Your kids will enjoy making this sweet homemade card for mom. It’s the perfect gift for moms of littles or a great activity for older kids to do on their own. Just follow these step-by-step instructions.

  1. Cut out template pieces. The Mom berry will be cut on the folded edge so you can open it, and it’s a card.
  2. Glue green stems on top of the strawberry.
  3. Add all face pieces to the strawberries first.
  4. Once the paint pen has dried, add little lines on the strawberry, staying away from the space under the eyes and the above the mouth. Glue baby strawberry to the bottom of the mom.
  5. Inside the card write – I love you “BERRY” much!

Feel free to customize the message inside, this is just a sweet one I came across, and I think it’s adorable!
