⭐ Optional Variation
Instead of tracing, you can paint your child’s hand with blue paint and stamp it directly onto the paper. From there, you can either:
- Cut out the stamped handprint and glue it on
- Or stamp it directly onto your background paper and build the flag around it

Materials Needed To Make A Handprint Flag
- Cardstock- white, blue and red
- Foam Stars
- Do a Dot Marker, if desired
- Scissors
- Glue

How to Make a Handprint Flag Craft
Step One:
- Trace your child’s hand onto a piece of blue paper and cut out. Alternatively you can paint your child’s hand blue and stamp it onto a piece of white paper.
- Cut out (5) 1 inch red strips of paper.

Step Two:
- If desired, stamp red dots from your Do a Dot’s onto your stripes.

Step Three:
- Glue your red stripes to your white paper, trying to keep an equal space between them. Trim your top two stripes to stop underneath your blue handprint.
- Glue your handprint to the top left corner.
- Add foam glitter stars to the handprint.
