How to Make a Paper Plate Ladybug
Step One:
- Paint your paper plate black. Let Dry.
- Using our ladybug template, cut out your various needed pieces. You will need two antennas and the wings.
- Cut out the googly eyes. We used the largest ones from our template.

Step Two:
- Glue your ladybug wings to the bottom half of your painted black paper.
- Glue your antennas at the top and glue to two pom poms.
- Glue your paper googly eyes to your ladybug.

Step Three:
- Glue three pom poms onto each side of the ladybug’s wings. This is a fun opportunity to introduce a little symmetry by encouraging kids to place the pom poms in matching spots on both sides of their ladybug.
