How to Make A Paper Plate Stag Beetle

Step One:

  • Paint your paint black. Let dry.
  • Using our beetle template to cut out various beetle body pieces from your grey and black cardstock.
  • Cut out your googly eyes from our free template, we used the largest version.
  • Cut a small triangle out of your grey wings.
  • Glue wings to the bottom half of your beetle.

Step Two:

  • Glue your legs, antennas and pincers to the body of your beetle. Use our photo as a guide or have fun creating your own look.

Step Three:

  • Glue on your paper googly eyes. We used the largest in our eye template.
