Snowman Wreath Craft for Kids

If you’re looking for a fun winter craft that works all season long, this Snowman Printable Wreath Craft is such a good one to add to your list. It’s easy to prep, super flexible, and perfect for kids who love to color, cut, and glue. Whether you’re crafting at home on a chilly afternoon or planning a classroom project, this wreath checks all the boxes.

One of my favorite parts is how kids get to design each snowman in their own way. They can change up the colors, mix and match scarves and hats, and even give each snowman a different personality. Adding the colorful paper circles around the wreath makes it even more fun, and no two wreaths ever turn out exactly the same.

Why This Snowman Wreath Is a Favorite

How To Make a Snowman Wreath

Step 1: Color the Snowman Faces and Accessories

  • Cut the center out of a paper plate to create the wreath base.
  • Print and color the snowman template. Kids can keep them classic or have fun with colorful scarves, hats, and earmuffs.

Step 2: Cut Everything Out

  • Cut out the snowmen and then cut colorful circles from construction/colored paper. We used a 3 inch circle punch to make this even easier!

Step 3: Arrange the Wreath

  • Glue your circles (in whatever pattern you love) to your paper plate.

Step 4: Add your Snowmen Heads

  • Glue your snowmen heads to your wreath. Decorate your snowmen with your favorite accessories.

Step 5: Finishing Touches

  • Finish adding your remaining snowmen heads.
  • Add a ribbon loop behind your finished wreath.

Crafty Tips

  • Let kids choose their own color theme—cool winter blues, bright rainbow colors, or anything in between
  • Younger kids can focus on coloring while adults help with cutting
  • Pre-cut circles with a 3 inch hole punch work great for classrooms or large groups
  • Punch a hole at the top and add yarn or ribbon for easy hanging
