Supplies Needed To Make A Shooting Star Craft
- Free Star Template
- Cardstock, black
- Cardstock, Yellow
- Cardstock, purple, hot pink, blue and light blue (or in colors you desire for the light trail
- Googly Eyes
- White Paint Marker
- Black Sharpie
- Scissors
- Glue

How to Make a Shooting Star Craft for Kids
- Use our free template to cut out your needed pieces. We made our star yellow and our strips of light trails in colors like pink, purple, light blue and dark blue.

- Fold your paper strips back and forth (like a fan or accordion style) to make it bouncy and fun.


- Add a smiley face to your yellow star with googly eyes, pink paper cheeks and a black sharpie smile.

- Add your paper light rays to one side of the star using glue or tape. Tape works best if you want a faster option!

- Glue your star to your black piece of cardstock.
- Using a white paint pen, draw stars and dots to your black paper.
