Silly Face Brownies: let these silly face brownies brighten up your childs day. They make for a delicious afternoon snack and are a recipe even the kids can enjoy making!

My oldest son just recently started kindergarten, which leaves me home with my 3 year old son and 9 month old daughter. My 3 year old son is having a hard time without his big brother being home everyday. We decided making treats and doing some crafts while big brother is gone would be a fun way to pass the time. It also allows us to have special time together while baby girl takes her naps. These silly face brownies are the perfect snack to bring the family together after a long day! You can even have the brownies made and the decorations ready on the table when your children come home for a fun way to unwind from a full day of school. They would also be great for a family game night and goes perfectly with Tastefully Simple’s Family Game Night Entertaining Collection.
We used Tastefully Simple’s Truffle Fudge Brownie mix to make these silly face brownies. Once the brownies were done baking and were completely cooled we iced the tops of them with some store-bought icing, you can use homemade icing as well!
We added some edible candy eyes to the brownies and lastly used some sparkle gel to draw on smiles, frowns or goofy faces!
My boys couldn’t get enough of them and they were the perfect little afternoon snack. My younger son had a blast showing them to his big brother!
My little guy couldn’t help sneaking one a little early….those lashes right?!
What are some activities you do with the little ones that are still at home?
