Materials Needed To Make A Popsicle Stick Artic Fox
- Popsicle Stick Moose Template
- 6 jumbo popsicle sticks
- Brown acrylic paint
- Large googly eyes, I used 45mm size (or 4 cm)
- Kraft paper or cardstock, I used two shades of brown (for antlers, ears, and muzzle)
- Black cardstock (for nose)
- Pink cardstock (for cheeks)
- Black marker
- Glue (craft glue or hot glue with adult supervision)
- Scissors
- Paintbrush

How To Make a Popsicle Stick Moose
Step 1: Preparing the Popsicle Sticks
- Paint popsicle sticks brown. Let dry.
- Line up six jumbo popsicle sticks side by side. Glue a smaller popsicle stick across the back horizontally to hold them together. I prefer to use hot glue for this step as it dries much faster but only adults should use hot glue.

Step 2: Create the Moose Features
- Use pink cardstock to cut two small circles for the moose’s cheeks.
- Use kraft paper or cardstock to cut out two large antlers, two small ears, and an oval muzzle.
- Cut a pair of small eyebrows and a triangle-shaped nose from black cardstock.

Step 3: Assemble the Moose
- Attach the antlers to the back of the popsicle sticks, one on each side.
- Glue the ears slightly below the antlers.
- Add the muzzle at the bottom center of the popsicle sticks.
- Attach the googly eyes above the muzzle and place the black nose pieces in the center of the muzzle.
- Add the pink cheeks to the sides of the muzzle and glue the eyebrows above the eyes.

Crafty Tips:
- Mix Up the Antlers: Instead of using plain kraft paper, try brown textured or patterned cardstock to make the antlers stand out.
- Magnet Fun: Turn the craft into a refrigerator magnet by gluing a magnet strip to the back of the moose.
- Add Personalization: Let your kids add their own smiles or eyebrowns to add their own personality.
