I am so excited that my little boys–specifically Jacob– are old enough to enjoy Christmas. This year I decided to put together a fun advent calendar that goes on the tree! It was so simple and my son is so excited to start do something fun and special each and every day! All I did was create small paper pockets that I can insert small notes or candy inside for each and every day! I cut a long strip of scrapbooking paper and folded it in half. I then sewed down each side of the scrapbooking paper to create a small pocket. I punched a hole and added a small piece of string to hang on the tree!
It looks so fun on the tree! Make sure you come back tomorrow because I will be sharing the fun Advent Card Printables that I made for my little family!
My favorite thing to do each year is to decorate the tree. My little boys just love seeing it all lit up! Each year my mom is going to be purchasing the boys an ornament and last year she bought these adorable reindeer. I just love the vintage feel they have.
