How To Make a Paper Plate Sun

Step 1:

  • Cut your paper plate in half. Paint yellow and let dry.

Step 2:

  • Using our free template, cut out your sunray shapes from your yellow cardstock. Glue behind paper plate.
  • Cut a blue cloud from your cardstock using our template and glue to the bottom of your paper plate.

Step 3:

  • Glue cotton balls to your blue cloud. Carefully pull on your cotton ball in different directions before gluing to make it slightly larger and easier to glue down. This also helps use less cotton balls to save more for another activity!

Step 4:

Glue your googly eyes and pink cheeks to your sun. Add eyelashes, if desired, and a smile/smirk with your Black Sharpie.
