Supplies Needed To Make A Paper Loop Flower Craft

  • Paper Loop Flower Template

  • Kraft Paper, or whatever background color you prefer
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick or liquid glue

How to Make a Paper Loop Flower Bouquet

Step One:

  • Print the free paper loop flower template.
  • Cut out your paper strips to get started. Our template includes two different lengths so you can create flowers in varying sizes, but you’re welcome to stick with just one size if you prefer. Plan to use about 4 strips for each flower.
  • Start by gluing two strips together in a plus (+) shape.
  • Next, add two more strips on top to create an X shape.

Step Two:

  • Add a piece of double-sided tape or a little glue to the center of your flower, then fold each strip up and press it down to form the petals. Double-sided tape works best here—it holds instantly and saves you from waiting on glue (and those sneaky petals popping back up!).

Step Three:

  • Glue a colored circle to the center of your flowers. Lightly press on the folded edges of your flowers petals to make them a bit more dimensional.

Step Four:

  • Fold your paper flower pot back and forth, like a fan. Fold one section up, then the next section down, and keep repeating until you reach the end.

Step Five:

  • Begin to assemble your bouquet of flowers.
  • Glue your stems and pot to your background piece.

Step Six:

  • Glue your flowers to the top of the stems.
  • Add leaves behind the flowers.
