Materials Needed To Make A Popsicle Stick Artic Fox
- Ice Cream Template
- Cardstock, Pink & White (or desired ice cream flavor colors)
- Cardstock, rainbow of colors if adding sprinkles
- Eyeballs
- Black Sharpie
- Brown Marker
- Scissors
- Glue
How To Make an Ice Cream Cone Card
Step 1: Cut your Desired Pieces
Using our template, cut out the following piece
- Scoop Shapes- fold a piece of paper in half (we chose white and pink for vanilla and strawberry but choose whatever color best fits with your desired “flavor”
- Cut out cone shape from your brown paper
- Cut out two cherry shapes from red paper
- Use a hole punch to cut out pink cheeks
- Cut out small strips of cardstock in a range of rainbow colors for rainbow sprinkles
Step 2: Ice Cream Cone Details
- Using a brown marker, draw diagonal lines onto your cone to add texture.
- Use glue to attach the ice cream scoop shape to the top of the cone. Be sure to press down firmly so they stick together well.
Step 3: Adding the Face Details
- Glue the googly eyes and the pink cheeks on the scoop, and then use a black marker to draw a simple smile below the eyes. This will give your ice cream character a happy, friendly face!
- Glue sprinkle shapes and a red cherry to the top of your scoop for a festive look!
Step 4: Write a Sweet Message inside your Card
- On the inside of the card, write a sweet message for your loved one. For Mother’s Day, you can include a note like “You’re as sweet as ice cream!” or simply “I love you!”
