How To Make a Glue Bottle Card

Step 1: Create the Card Base

  • Use our free template to cut out your glue card pieces.
Fold a sheet of white cardstock in half, then trace the base shape onto it, this way, your glue bottle will open like a card.

Step 2: Make the Glue Cap

  • Glue your light blue panel to the middle of your white card piece.
  • Draw lines on both your twist cap and your glue spout with orange crayons or markers. Glue both pieces to the top inside edge of the card.

Step 3: Add the Face

  • Stick on two googly eyes and glue on pink paper circles for cheeks. Use a black marker to add a smile and optional eyelashes or little lines for expression.

🍎 Classroom Tips:

  • Skip the card format: Instead of making it open like a card, simply use the template as a flat craft. Students can add their name and glue it onto a “Let’s Stick Together” bulletin board.
  • Make it into a name tag or desk buddy: Attach each glue bottle to the corner of a desk or cubby for a fun first-week display.
  • Use for getting-to-know-you activities: Let students draw or write a few fun facts about themselves inside the glue bottle card.
