Materials Needed To Make Apple Stamping Pumpkins
- Apple
- Orange Paint
- Googly eyes, in various sizes
- Brown Crayon
- Green Pipe Cleaners
- Brown Pipe Cleaners
- Glue (we prefer to use liquid glue rather than a glue stick as it will work better while attaching the pipe cleaners)
- White paper, we prefer use cardstock
- Paint brush
How to Make Apple Print Pumpkins
Step 1:
- Cut a few apples in half vertically. Pat them dry with a paper towel so the paint sticks better.
- Pour orange paint onto a paper plate and dip the cut side of each apple into the paint. You can also use a paintbrush to add a thick coating of orange paint onto your cut apple. Press onto white cardstock to create pumpkin shapes. Repeat across the page.
- Allow the paint to dry completely before adding faces and decorations.
Step 2:
- Use your brown crayon and add a few vertical lines to each of your apples for added texture.
Step 3:
- Glue on googly eye, for a silly, wide-eyed look. Cut small brown pipe cleaners for stems and twist green ones for curly vines. Glue them above each pumpkin.
