- 2 Tbsp butter, divided
- 4 boneless pork chops, roughly 4 ounces each
- 2 TBSP brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- dash of salt
- 4 medium apples, cut thin I like to use tart apples such as Granny Smith
In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon butter. Add pork chops; cook 4-5 minutes over medium heat on each side or until a thermometer reads 145°.
In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.Remove chops, wrap in foil to stay warm.
Melt remaining butter in pan. Add apples and brown sugar mixture. Cook and stir until apples are tender. Serve with chops.
