Toilet Paper Roll Robot
A fun and easy Robot Toilet Paper Roll Craft to talk about reusing objects, what robots are, and practice fine motor skills.
Ingredients
- Toilet Paper Rolls
- Pipe Cleaners in light purple, dark purple, and dark blue
- Mini Pom Poms
- Mini Buttons
- Medium Pom Poms
- Eyeball template or googly eyes free template
- construction paper or cardstock. Blue, yellow, and white
Instructions
- Begin by wrapping your toilet paper tubes in aluminum foil.
- Cut your square belly pieces out of blue construction paper. Cut your rectangle belly piece out of yellow construction paper.
- Add small pom poms to the yellow piece and buttons to the square piece. I attached it with liquid glue, but you can also use a hot glue gun.
- Attach two blue pipe cleaners as the arms. I twisted mine a little to look squiggly.
- Glue a pom pom on either side of the robot’s head to be its ears. Cut out a thin piece of white paper and draw a grid-like pattern on it with a Sharpie marker to act as the mouth.
- Attach another piece of pipe cleaner to the top of the robot head with a pom pom on top. This is the robot’s antennae.
