Sprinkle the yeast over 1/3 cup of warm water in a large bowl
Stir in the sugar and let it stand for about 5 minutes.
Combine together in a medium bowl: cold water, oil, salt, garlic salt, oregano, and 1/2 of the flour.
Add this mixture to your yeast mixture.
Add the rest of the flour.
Knead the dough by hand or with a handheld mixer until it is smooth. This takes roughly 3-5 minutes. I recommend doing this on a floured surface so your dough doesn't stick to the work surface.
Let the pizza dough rise until it doubles in size. Usually takes 1-1 1/2 hours.Makes 2-3 pizza crusts depending on your desired crust thickness
