Torn Paper Bat

This is a fun fine motor activity for kids to complete during the spooky Halloween season.

Ingredients

  • purple, black and white cardstock (8.5 X 11)
  • Googly eyes
  • pink paint
  • bat template
  • glue

Instructions

  • Cut out your bat template.
  • Trace the bat onto purple paper (make sure it's in the middle of the sheet of paper).
  • Tear black paper into pieces and glue it inside the bat shape. You'll have to tear small or pointy pieces to fit inside the wings.
  • Add googly eyes using liquid glue.
  • Attach white fangs and pink cheeks using the bottom end of a paintbrush and pink paint. These finishing touches will add a cute little face to your bat.
