Oven Glazed Pork Chops
Oven Glazed Pork Chops: a delicious oven baked pork chop recipe that is marinated in a flavorful brown sugar marinade and then baked with a brown sugar and tomato based sauce. This recipe makes for a great weeknight meal!
- 2 cups soy sauce
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 TBSP molasses
- 6 pork chops, bone in
- 3/4 cup ketchup
- 2/3 cup chili sauce, the kind you use for burgers and fries
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 TBSP water
- 1 1/2 tsp ground mustard
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, bring soy sauce, water, brown sugar and molasses to a boil. Remove from the heat; cool to room temperature.
Pour into a large resealable plastic bag; add pork chops. Seal bag and refrigerate for 2-6 hours. Drain and discard the marinade. Place pork chops in a 13 x 9 baking dish.
Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Combine the sauce ingredients; pour over chops. Bake, uncovered for 30 minutes or until meat juices run clear
