Tomato, Basil and Shrimp Pasta

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb of spaghetti
  • 1 TBSP vegetable oil
  • 1/4 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 TBSP dried basil
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 10-12 frozen precooked shrimp you can use fresh too

Instructions

  • Prepare your pasta according to the package.
  • In a medium saucepan lightly saute garlic in vegetable oil.
  • Add crushed tomatoes and basil.
  • Allow to cook down for about 10 minutes.
  • Add chicken broth and shrimp and continue cooking on low until shrimp is heated through. (about 5 minutes)
