Snowman Kiss Gift: Guest Post

Hey everyone, I’m Danielle from over at Busy Mom’s Helper, and I’m stoked to be here with y’all! I don’t know how you’re handling the holidays, but on my end it’s pure chaos. Between decorating (still!), shopping, wrapping, making gifts, plus the normal household to run and kids that need caring for….I’m drowning a bit! I do love the holidays, though, and even though they’re filled with to-do’s, it’s totally fun! One of my favorite activities is helping the kids make some cute-but-simple gifts for their little friends. This year, we did a few different things for variety, one of which is this super adorable Snowman Kiss Gift!

One great thing about this gift idea is that you can really switch it up! Have wrapped candies on-hand that aren’t kisses? Use them! Want more green instead of silver or red? Sure! Find bells annoying? Switch them out for something else. You really can make this YOURS, and even cater it to each kiddo, if you want.

Supplies

• Tulle of choice (I did two sparkly types, silver and white)
• Ribbon for tying
• Bells, or whatever for dangling
• Chocolate Kisses (or wrapped candy/gift of choice)
• Black felt, fleece or paper
• Glue/scissors

Directions

1. Cut out some black circles for the snowman ‘buttons’. If your tulle is large enough to just use one piece without the inside stuff falling out, just cut a large piece. If not (like me) cut three smaller pieces and randomly layer them. This holds everything in! Place your kisses in the center and wrap the tulle up and around it.
2. Tie the tulle securely closed with the ribbon. Add the bells to the ribbon ends, and tie it up in a bow if you want. Glue on the buttons and VIOLA! You’re done!

I’ll admit, we ate a decent amount of the kisses as we were putting this goodies together! I may or may not have eaten the most….
