Snowman Craft Box: a little snowman box filled with goodies to help pass the winter day away.
This post is brought to you by Oriental Trading. All opinions are mine!
The other day I had planned on hosting a small snowman party for some of my son’s little friends. Unfortunately some sickness caused us to cancel our fun playdate. I thought, what a great idea that a snowman craft box would be for a “get well” activity. I put together a few snowman craft boxes for the kids that were supposed to attend. My boys and I had a fun time gather a few simple snowman goodies and putting together our boxes. We got all of our supplies at one of our favorite online stops….Oriental Trading. They have so many fun Christmas/Winter decorations, craft kids, tableware and more! Let me show you just a few of the things we had in our little Snowman Craft Box.
These little plush snowmen weren’t necessarily a craft but they are a fun little toy the kids can play with even after their craft is finished 🙂
My kids love stickers….what kids don’t right? I love that this snowman mini sticker scenes activity comes with a mini sticker scene.
They have plenty of options to make their own silly snowmen. It’s always so fun to see the different ways your kids create. The stickers scenes are a great option for the younger ones and even the older kids. The main craft I included in the boxes were the fun snowman head ornaments. It comes with every thing you need, minus the glue. I actually recommend the parents help glue the ear-muffs on with a glue gun. They have both red and blue options. I love having my children make homemade ornaments each year. It’s so fun to look over their past ornaments and see how their skills and creativity have grown.
We packaged everything in these festive snowman gift boxes. They were really easy to put together and held all of our things perfectly. These would be great to use for teachers gifts filled with homemade goodies.
We added a little packet of hot cocoa and finished the boxes off with some ribbon and bows.
This is such an inexpensive way to send some holiday cheer this Christmas. You can do as I did and pass them out to children to do at home and on their own time or you can host a small get together. If you plan on hosting a snowman theme party you should check out this fun “Pin the Nose on The Snowman Game“! The kids will love seeing where their noses end up!
