Rustic Herb Shredded Pork & Rice is a delicious slow cooker meal that your whole family will love!
I love slow cooker meals. I especially enjoy them on a day that is really busy filled with Doctors appointments, kids school activities and endless errands. This recipe sits in the slow cooker all day and will make your house smell divine! You only need a few simple ingredients with the star of the show being Tastefully Simple’s Rustic Herb Seasoning. The pork loin is cooked for 6-7 hours and gets tender and juicy.
We liked to pour the pork and herb mix over a pile of rice and serve it with steamed veggies but it would be delicious over egg noodles as well.
Rustic Herb Pork & Rice
- 1 pork tenderloin about 1 1/2 lbs.
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 Tbsp. Rustic Herb Seasoning
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- Place all ingredients but the cornstarch in the slow cooker and cook for 6-7 hours on low heat. Add more liquid if needed towards the last few hours. Remove pork loin and shred with a fork. Add 1 tablespoon of cornstarch to the liquid. Add meat back in and allow to cook for another 20 minutes.
