These Rainbow Parfaits are a colorful and yummy treat for the kids
Can I start out by saying that I hate when my food touches, not the normal spaghetti and meatballs, chicken and mashed potatoes stuff but everything else that isn’t “meant” to touch. 🙂 I also don’t like it when my cereal gets soft…my ratio of cereal to milk goes something like 90/10 🙂 So if you are like me, this may not be the treat for you. So why am I posting a parfait that I wouldn’t eat? Well…because unlike me, my middle son Carter loves to mix his food. I mean everything and anything-yuck! So this fun and colorful rainbow parfait was made with him in mind and I thought it would be fun to share for anyone else who doesn’t mind their food touching 🙂 Honestly, besides the texture of these ingredients together bothering me I really LOVE both of them separately.
I used Fruity Pebbles to act as the granola for these rainbow parfaits and I just love the pop of color. My son loved the different layers of yogurt in it as well. The bottom layer is strawberry, middle is vanilla (his favorite) and the top is peach. Of course if you only want to use one flavor of yogurt that will work great too! You can tailor this parfait to your families favorites!
Don’t the colors just make you happy?! 🙂
