The Perfect Chocolate Cupcake- so much yumminess in few words! This chocolate cupcake recipe is seriously the best I have had. My husband loves his chocolate cake and he always requests this recipe for his birthday! Topped with some delicious Buttercream Frosting you really can’t go wrong! This recipe always turns out moist, soft and oh so chocolatey. It’s super simple to mix together and makes about 24 cupcakes or two 9 in. cakes which is just perfect for birthdays and special occasions. My mom actually made mine and my sisters wedding cake and this chocolate cake recipe is what she used for some of our wedding cakes and everyone was raving about how delicious it tasted!

Hi Katie …. This looks so good and I want to make it bake it taste it ….. But I don’t like the taste of baking soda. What is the purpose of the baking soda in this recipe? The cocoa I use is alkalized cocoa. May I leave the bake soda out? Please Please
