My boys are always asking what kind of projects we can work on together next. They love to paint, color, bake and just simply CREATE. With Valentines Day right around the corner we made a fun and simple paper craft that is both hands-on and fun. My boys love the show Creative Galaxy and their newest Valentine special “Heart Day” episode will air in just a few short days! We had the chance to catch a sneak peek and we were inspired by Arty and his creative friends to make this paper heart bouquet kids craft to celebrate Valentines Day. We are even sharing a fun video for you!
Supplies for Paper Heart Bouquet:
- Heart Template
- Scrapbooking Paper
- Glue stick
So to start with making your own flower bouquet, you will need to print off this heart template. You can certainly draw your own hearts but I found this was easier for my younger boys. I created both a large heart template and a small heart template.
Have your children color their hearts and then with an adults help, cut them out.
The boys used a glue stick to glue down their colored hearts. We also added some green stems and a tied pink ribbon to our bouquet. Not only are my boys excited about the new “Heart Day” Creative Galaxy Episode but they also just released a fun activity set called “Arty’s Tool Belt”
This activity set is filled with coloring pads, stickers, paint brushes, crayons and even a fun belt that is perfect for your creative little ones!
I just love their heart project! I’m planning on hanging it on our kids art gallery wall to enjoy for the next few weeks 🙂
