This Simple Ornament Frame Decor is the perfect outdoor home decor project for the holiday season.

I’m so excited that the Christmas season is almost here! I always love to decorate for the holiday and this year I partnered with Behr to make this simple outdoor ornament frame decor piece that looks great on a front door! You may have remembered my front door redo earlier this year and I am still in love with the color as the day I painted it. The outdoor color Opus T16-20 PPU goes perfectly with all the seasons.
To make my simple frame decor I started off painting a wooden frame in the same Opus color that I painted my front door. I didn’t paint the whole frame only the parts that I knew I wanted to sand.
I then painted a very light top color of blue on top of the frame. Once I allowed it to dry I sanded the edges and various spots on the frame to allow the Opus color to pop through more.
I then added a pretty ornament to hang from the middle of the frame. I attached a snowflake golden ribbon at the top and finished it off with a bow. So pretty and simple!
I loved partnering with Behr and some of my fellow blogger friends to bring you some more outdoor holiday home decor projects. Make sure you check out my friends posts too!
