My two boys are your typical adventures, they love to explore new places and try new things. As a mom of three, I am constantly trying to keep up with their active lifestyle. During the warmer months we love to take mini hikes behind our house and into the woods. We have a pond about half a mile into the woods that they love to visit. During one of our hikes we decided to add a little something extra and planned a nature scavenger hunt. The boys had to search for bugs, tree bark, dirt, sticks and other nature related things. Of course our mini hike was going to take a little longer than usual so we brought along our new favorite kids fruit juice drink, along for the exploration.
I have partnered with Fruit Shoot™ to share with you how my kids are enjoying the outdoors this summer.
Are you headed on a family adventure? If so, take your camera along to capture the fun, share a video of your family adventure on the Fruit Shoot™ Adventures Film Contest website for a chance to win weekly prizes. One lucky winner will receive a family trip to London, England! Read on for more inspiration and entry details.
It’s important to stay hydrated during the summer months and while exploring. Fruit Shoot ™ is a fruit juice drink I don’t have to feel guilty about! Fruit Shoot™ comes in a variety of flavors, including Regular and No Added Sugar:
- Apple (No Sugar Added )
- Wild Berry Grape (No Sugar Added)
- Berry Burst (Regular and No Sugar Added )
- Orange (Regular and No Sugar Added)
- Strawberry & Raspberry (Regular and No Sugar Added)
- Orange & Mango (Regular)
My boys loved the flavors of their drinks, their personal favorites were the Orange and the Strawberry Raspberry but they really do love them all. The re-sealable bottle is perfect for kids on the hunt for nature 🙂 The sports cap for “big kids” is just what a day of adventure needs.
The bottle is perfect for small hands and just the right amount for them to finish. I loved being able to store them in a back pack and not having to worry about them spilling over. It’s the perfect drink for our on-the-go lifestyle.
My boys had a blast finding their little nature treasures! They really wanted to find some critters but mommy but a stop to that. I would rather leave the little bugs alone 🙂 Scavenger hunts are fun for girls, boys and kids of all ages!
I created this fun Nature Scavenger Hunt Printable for your next family adventure! Just click HERE to download and print it! Feel free to mark off any of the items your children may not be able to find. I also added a few lines where you can fill in your own ideas. The most important part of having a scavenger hunt is just letting the kids explore the things around them. Let me collect and find things that aren’t even on the list.
